Webmasters Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for pro webmasters. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm creating email campaigns in Mailchimp and they will also be automatically posted in Facebook.

Facebook allows to create the thumbnail of the campaign by picking the GIF (http://eepurl.com/QokP).

But I'd like to choose a specific frame of the GIF as the thumbnail. Do you know if there is a way to set a frame as the default frame for a GIF preview?

This should only be a problem with animated GIFs. Instead of using an animated GIF, choose an image with only a single frame. –  Stephen Ostermiller Dec 27 '13 at 13:02
