I would like to know:

  1. What is the difference between accessing my hosting through Web Disk or mapping it through FTP, in Windows?

  2. With Web Disk... is there any way to access the files through a web browser?

  3. I have heard that Web Disk allows version control. How can achieve this?

In all cases, my hosting plan is managed with cPanel.

Here is a tutorial on Web Disk which may be of use. – zigojacko Nov 6 '13 at 9:10
I'm using Web Disk, the point is that I don't see any differences with mapping the folder in Windows with FTP. – user1314836 Nov 7 '13 at 5:57
