Webmasters Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for pro webmasters. It's 100% free, no registration required.

So I decided to switch from Plesk to Webmin.

Normally in Plesk, when I add a new domain name, it would auto generate a document root under /var/www/vhosts/domain_name/

Now moving to Webmin, in a less friendly way, I already added a new domain name in the BIND DNS thingy. However, as I checked the Apache Web Server, the default web server doesn't seem to recognize there's already a virtual host settled in before - it just points to /var/www/html/. So looks like it uses the default DocumentRoot setting from etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

How do I solve this? What I want basically is to reconcile/unite the virtual host setting from Plesk to Webmin, and thus I can add a new domain name under /var/www/vhosts/ and start accessing/managing the website under that directory.
