Webmasters Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for pro webmasters. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm looking for a solution I saw years ago that allowed to exchange files with a number of individual users. Basically each user had a distinct account and upon login could see a list of available files. The admin could add and remove files for each account from its console.

In a way, it was like an FTP with a nice GUI.

Do you know of anything like that?

Thanks

There are hundreds of solutions you can use, dropbox does this but if you want a GUI on a website then simply Google PHP file sharing. – bybe Feb 17 at 13:18
That's the first thing I did, but the term "file sharing" is understood mostly as group sharing/collaboration, while I need a more individualistic solution. – chris Feb 17 at 14:16
This is not the proper place for this question. It is not a recommendation or suggestion engine. This sort of question is better suited for Webmasters Chat. See about Pro Webmasters. – John Conde Feb 17 at 15:58
