Webmasters Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for pro webmasters. It's 100% free, no registration required.

The site used to get 50-100 visits per day. As of the 5th of Feb, all traffic has dropped to zero (including referrals and direct traffic). Not even one visit!

Webmaster Tools says there have been no impressions since then.

However, when I search for my site on Google it shows up as the first result.

Any ideas why this might be happening? Is this a Google Analytics/Webmaster Tools error?

Thanks!

We can only speculate as to why this is happening. Plus many other users have asked this question before. You can search this site to see what others had to say. – John Conde Feb 11 at 2:36
Thanks for that. I've looked through other questions and can only find ones about drops in traffic, not zero traffic. – user20406 Feb 11 at 2:45
Not sure why you have closed off my question? I can't find any helpful questions on this site. Please link me to a question that is similar. – user20406 Feb 11 at 2:55
It was closed because there is no way for us to know why. It's subjective and too localized, anyway. It's just not a good fit for this site. If anything, it belongs in Webmasters Chat. – John Conde Feb 11 at 2:57
Ok thank you for your reply. – user20406 Feb 11 at 3:02
