i'm preety new to SEO, so please bare with me if the question seems dumb.. I have a webshop, for which I made a sitemap and sent it to google to index.. now, when I am logged in to my google account and type the domain name into google (without the "www." and ".hr"), google puts that site first.. OK... when I log out, and do the SAME search, the site is 5th or 6th... how is this possible?? also, site appears on google (i sent it like 3 days ago), but in my webmaster google account it says that 0 pages are indexed... so, just putting site ON google and indexing it is not the same thing?
I can provide site domain name so you can see for yourself if it's needed...
I have one more site with the same (strange) issues...
thanks for the anwsers!!!

The explanation is pretty simple. When you are logged in, Google sorts the results according to your search habits and your search history. For this reason, the results you browse/click the most are likely to be moved at the top of the SERP when you are logged in.

Google customizes search results based on your search history. So similar but different different search results will be shown for different users based on their search history. If you want to see what the general public sees when they search be sure to log out of your Google account when searching.
