Seems like most browsers have a slider to control the volume of audio files played via the <audio> tag, yet Firefox on Windows (and Linux) seems to only have an 'all on' or 'all off' volume control. Is it just me?

You're right. After few reseach it was a bug in previous version of Firefox so that the volume control was removed. But, as the blog post says, it should be back since FF 12+ – j0k Oct 24 '12 at 21:45
