Some of the pages of my site are indexed but the site isnot..how is it possible..and what can be done about it. My site: www.viclaw.com

I used a tool to find indexed pages and 4 came up but when i do a serach for the site it does ot come up as indexed. Could it be cause the home page has a robots txt no follow no index – sujo Oct 18 '12 at 9:54

the few links I found about your site all take me to the same content. That's not good.

The sitemap you have is incomplete, you should finish it and upload it to google to help with the process. And remember to include when the robot should visit it again.

It's also important to consider that you should give some time to google and other crawlers to index your site. When did you finished it? when did you uploaded it?

Also, if you are using google webmaster tools, you may check for errors or problems that may affect your site now.

You should add headers like expires, last-modified, cache-control to improve the cacheability of the site, otherwise, it may be considered as always changing and that can cause some troubles if you site is crawled too many times.
