I am in China and have used freegate in the past --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freegate

Recently I've been having too many problems with that and some other web-based proxies I usually use.

I have a website that is hosted in the US which I can access from China.

Is there an easy way for me to setup my own secure private proxy? I'm sick of all my internet problems and looking for a new workable solution.

I think you should look up Squid for UNIX.
