Webmasters Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for pro webmasters. It's 100% free, no registration required.

When using FrontPage 2003, it insists on updating index.php without asking. I cannot see a way to disable this behavior. Does anyone know if there is a way to stop FrontPage from modifying files automatically?

I think I might have not an answer to the question, but an idea of what a more relevant question might be. stackoverflow.com/questions/1401634/… – dadinck Sep 14 '12 at 22:54
I am not sure why this is considered off-topic. It is about editing a website with a tool. I can only guess that it would be off-topic if nobody on the forum uses Frontpage. Someone please tell me if my guess is right. Is there any other reason this would be off-topic? I already tried Google, blekko, and Bing for an answer without success. – dadinck Sep 17 '12 at 15:26
