Do you have Helvetica installed on your computer? – paulmorriss Jul 26 '12 at 8:16

If you have Helvetica installed, it might actually be rendering the font different than other browsers. There was a question on here a few weeks ago comparing the different browsers rendering the same font differently. – BillyNair Jul 26 '12 at 17:18
What OS are you using? – w3d Jul 27 '12 at 0:54
I forgot about this question. @BillyNair Now that i look i dont see helvetica in my list of installed fonts in windows, unless its name doesnt start with helvetica. but firefox is displaying helvetica. I have more follow up on this. – Dor1000 Jul 27 '12 at 2:31

Every browser has particular features and specification so, font system also depends on browser. Some browsers require to install additional fonts in computer system. For example : Opera browser. Here, the same problem with Opera browser and helvetica font.
