I am planning for creating some good websites and looking for sites which provide great templates. Can any of you recommend any sites from personal experience?

I know a google search will give me a million sites for "website templates" ... but i want personal experience.

I'm not sure this is the correct site to ask this question I think the Webmaster stackexchange site may be more appropriate – Sruly Aug 4 '10 at 8:02

I love the way their marketplace is setup, almost all of the designers are really responsive to questions/feedback as well. – Wil Aug 4 '10 at 11:30

Open Source Web Design is a site to download free web design templates and share yours with others. We help make the internet a prettier place.

This is an Open Source Web Design (OSWD) site. (For anyone who thought OSWD by itself was a bit cryptic.) – Michael Aug 4 '10 at 16:00

Check out WooThemes, they are really nice as well!

There's a lot of overlap with OSWD, but http://www.freecsstemplates.org/ has quite a few.

If you're specifically looking for an "admin" theme, I've created liberally licensed one for my own projects that I've put up on Github:

RocketTheme has some amazing themes along with themeforest.com

Thesis is a good and highly-customizable theme for Wordpress 3.0. You can create some amazing sites using just this one theme.
