Time to tidy my bookmarks - I've got some from 1997 pointing at Geocities! And I want to share certain of them on my Wordpress blog, and hopefully have them update from a feed, or Chrome plugin etc, so that when I'm somewhere else, I can quickly refer to my own site.

Right now, I've got this big folder in Chrome, I'd like to tidy, organise AND TAG they whole lot.

For example, phptidy online would be tagged programming, php.

A CSS tidy plugin for the IDE I use would be tagged css, programming, webdesign, netbeans, plugin.

etc. Given that I'm starting all over again from scratch, I want to get this right from the ground up. I've got a Delicious account - but I'm looking at the Delicious plugins and they all say things like "last updated 572 days ago - not tested with your version - 1 rating" and so on.

So can anyone suggest a good way of starting, remembering that whatever I do, I'd like to end up with, ideally, a sort of "selection combo" box, so you could narrow down the results - ie: tick a selection of "css" and "plugins" to see CSS plugins....

This is...very specific and may get closed just for that, but if not probably belongs on SuperUser either way. – Su' Jan 8 at 22:20
I asked the moderators at SuperUser if this was appropriate at their site and they said it was not so it will not be migrated there. – John Conde Jan 9 at 1:35
