How to find web hosting that meets my requirements?

Im having trouble choosing a web host. To begin with i only need a VPS to start my project, but i want to be able to expand to a dedicated server later when traffic is growing without much hassle.

Things of importance:

  • quality and fast service
  • price
  • phpmyadmin
  • cpanel

Any suggestions?

EDIT : I live in Norway, but the site is going to be international.

I suggest checking out http://www.hostmonk.com/ For me is the best way to find unbiased, customized answers
