I have around 100 domain names and growing, I was originally thinking of creating separate accounts in WHM for each domain, however someone suggested just creating them all as addon domains. So I've got a few setups in mind and would like to know from somebody more knowledgeable as to what would be the best in terms of server usage and such.

  1. Create new accounts in WHM for each domain.
  2. Create an account in WHM using a subdomain of my main domain, sub.website.com, then create addon domains.
  3. Create an account in WHM using one of the new domains, website2.com, then create addon domains.

So what do you think to be the best solution? The addon domains are appealing as I could group the domains into appropriate categories for tracking purposes, although I've also read having many addon domains can impact on server resources through all the virtual configurations etc.
