Webmasters Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for pro webmasters. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I don't like the idea of having a large system. I like components I can swap in and out so if I am lacking a feature, I can use something else rather then live with it or start cover with a different system. It looks like there are systems that do it all.

I need something to allow customers to buy something. Kickstart a script I have. Register the user in a ticketing system for customer support. Notify me when their support has expired (also tickets should only be available to customers).

A bonus would be if I can have forum software and a mailing list. Is there a good combination of software that I can use?

It's hard to tell what you're asking here. Your question could benefit from clarification. Are you looking for a third-party hosted service? Or something you can install on your own server? What's your budget? What programming language are you using? What have you tried already? Why was that insufficient? Are you comfortable programming a solution, or are you looking for a plug-and-play option? etc. –  Nick Jul 8 '11 at 10:10

You can use CiviCRM integrated into Drupal to provide all of the functionality you require. The CiviEvent module will not allow you to specify seat locations but it will do everything else.

When i searched tickets it looked like it does tickets as in ticket sales. But nothing for opening a support ticket, assigning the ticket to others and closing it. –  acidzombie24 Jul 8 '11 at 19:26

I think you should have been more specific in your question as 'tickets' are normally first thought of as being the things you buy for a gig, conference, cinema etc. To my knowledge there are ticketing systems that track time etc, but none that hook up to take online payments etc. –  ʍǝɥʇɐɯ Jul 8 '11 at 20:10
