I am using hidden texts in one of my websites for better page rank and after browsing some web i found it better not to use hidden texts. Does using hidden texts of keywords in webpage affects page rank ? Does google block such types of site using hidden texts like same color of font as background.

If your site is perceived to contain hidden text and links that are deceptive in intent, your site may be removed from the Google index, and will not appear in search results pages.

It looks at the font colour and the background colour and notices they are the same. – paulmorriss Jun 10 '11 at 9:13

This is the very definition of black hat SEO and probably the most obvious. Doing this is asking for a ban.
