I am currently going to purchase a reseller account that allows WHM and Admin access.

Would it be possible for me to make a public folder (read only) on the server that contains PHP files that can access the other sites located on the server and vice-versa?

Also what about sites not located on the server, what type of authentication would I need?

When say these PHP files can access the other sites, what do you mean? That they can call scripts in them? That they can read other files in them? – paulmorriss Jun 7 '11 at 7:57
