I found this site, http://psncardgenerator.com/ It has a unique ID generator, and click counter. I understand how the ID was made, but don't understand how the counter was made. Does anyone know? (I'm not promoting the site, since you can see I'm not even using an ID, I'm just interested to how they count the clicks.)

When I go to that site I get a blank page, no error, no HTML. – paulmorriss May 3 '11 at 9:01
A script can update a database record to equal the record's value plus one to count hits. It appears as though your initial StackOverflow question was closed, however, you can ask at StackOverflow if you have specific questions regarding a PHP implementation. – danlefree May 5 '11 at 11:00
