You need to be more specific. Are you collecting a list of different kinds of compliance a website might encounter? What kind of an audit? This question is too vague in its current form. – John Conde Apr 4 '11 at 13:21
Which country does this relate to? Regulations vary from country to country. – paulmorriss Apr 4 '11 at 13:24
+1 @paulmorriss: Great point regarding the country. In this case likely the US. – blunders Apr 4 '11 at 13:32

Assuming you mean potential compliance issues a website might encounter:

  • PCI DSS (credit card information)
  • HIPAA (medical records privacy)

This list can be quite long depending on the industry and country the business is in.

+1 @John Conde: Thanks, tried to make this a community wiki, but not seeing the option. Am I missing something? – blunders Apr 4 '11 at 13:31
@Blunders, probably not. :) But I took care of it for you. – John Conde Apr 4 '11 at 13:32
