I'ld like to have a download on my website for a piece of software with a "pay what you want" option. So what's the best practice to distribute digital files like that?

do you mean that someone should pay for your software before they buy like any other online ordering site? then you should use paypal for the payment and setup a secure cart using something like zencart. and also you will have to buy an SSL certificate to show that your customers can trust you and the site is secure. |
